I recently discovered the GoGratitude movement which is inspired by the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto. Emoto has demonstrated that elements are linked to emotions and that hydrogen is linked to gratitude, oxygen to love. If you have a water molecule – h20 – you naturally have twice as much gratitude as love in every molecule. We are pretty much made of water so this is an interesting insight into the human experience.

As a culture, we are virtually obsessed with the idea of cultivating ‘love’ but we don’t talk as much about the value of ‘gratitude’. I think when you literally define it – gratitude is the ability to process love. This is definitely an important thing – perhaps the key to happiness.
