The work that I do is oftentimes “un-recorded” . . . . I just want to make things better . . . . that’s the name of the game that I play. I would rather be a hero than a savior – an example than a model . . . . who knows what this shit really means in the end . . . . I mean nobody really . . . . but you can make things better . . . . that much I do believe. You can tweak – and twist – and become cantankerous until you figure out what you’re trying to say . . . . clearly . . . . it’s not an easy thing, I realize that. so I’m just giving it up to everyone who has ever figured it out . . . . I guess I’m ready for the real thing . . . . the thing that makes me sing . . . .
